Longleat

You can explore the park by car, on foot, or by boat, and enjoy attractions like the Longleat Railway and the Adventure Castle for younger visitors.

Stourhead

Stourhead estate on the Wiltshire-Somerset border is the perfect day out for everyone. A breathtaking 18th century landscape garden with lakeside walks. Ideal for those with National trust memberships.

Cheddar Gorge and Caves

Cheddar Gorge is one of England’s most iconic and spectacular landscapes. At almost 400 feet deep and three miles long, this is England’s largest gorge. With its weathered crags and pinnacles, it is a spectacular natural sight. The gorge would have begun forming about one million years ago during the last Ice Age. The Cheddar Yeo River gradually made its way underground, creating the famous Cheddar Caves.

  1. White Row Farm Shop & Café in Beckington, just outside Frome, is a true field-to-fork experience. White Row is set in pleasant rustic surroundings and includes a Farm Shop selling a huge range of items including local and organic produce, a café , garden, gift shop, fish & chip shop and children’s play area. The café serves a wide range of delicious coffees, lunches and teas seven days a week. Their food is freshly made from local produce.
  2. Hauser & Wirth Somerset: Occupying a former farmstead in Bruton, Hauser & Wirth Somerset has free art exhibitions, a café and restaurant. Awesome Farm Shop with an enticing and interesting range of fresh produce/ drinks/ culinary accompaniments etc. Includes an exciting range of Swiss produce.
  3. Hartley Farm Shop & Kitchen: Family-run, award-winning farm shop, butchers and cafe in Wiltshire near Bath. Local, seasonal and sustainable food and drink.
  4. Flourish at Farleigh Road: Gold award winning farm shop cafe serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Outside seating and play area.
  5. Teals: A destination farm shop, deli and restaurant located near Sparkford on the A303 in Somerset, England.
